Robert M. Baumann was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, April 21st,2013, age 68 years. Loving husband and soul mate of Roxanne L. (Kurkowski) Baumann for 36 years. Father of Dale R. (Noushin) Baumann, Roswell, GA: David J. (MaryBeth) Baumann, Jacksonville, FL. Loving grandpa of Nicole, Andrew and Brian Baumann. Loving Uncle Bob to Austin and Max Kurkowski, Plainfield, IN. Bob met the love of his life, Roxanne in September 1977; and married her on Sept 6, 1986 at Southminster Presbyterian in Waukesha. Bob spent 25 years in route sales and management with Wonder Bread in Milwaukee. In 1994 he began a new career as Motorcycle Sales Manager at Milwaukee Harley-Davidson where he made people happy everyday by fulfilling their dreams. During that time, Bob was active in the Harley Owner’s Group; taking his customers on rides and showing them how to enjoy motorcycling. Together with Roxanne, he led numerous HOG rides, rode the bike to Key West, over the Golden Gate and down Hwy 101 in California, through Volcano National Park on the Big Island; and on Beele Street in Memphis. He achieved the Iron Butt Association award for riding 1000 miles in 24 hours and was an avid Route 66 traveler. He traveled in 48 states plus Germany. Retiring in 2006, he rekindled his love of fishing, became a member of the Muskellunge Club of Wisconsin; enjoying God’s creation in northern Wisconsin. He proudly served as an elder at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian, Stone Bank; and hosted numerous sheepshead gatherings at his home. He was happiest on any open road on his Harley, with Roxanne. He lived life, cherished his wife and family, loved friends, and showed everyone how to have fun. His personal motto was “18 ‘til I Die”. Memorial services will be Sunday, May 5th at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church, N66 W32690 Highway K, Hartland, WI Visitation at 2:30pm, with the service immediately following; Rev. Kurt Walker officiating. Private interment at the Gardens of Stone Bank, Stone Bank, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
